I have a similar story with Ziply when we had a 4 day outage here. I have plenty of stories with Comcast as well, even using their business class service. This sorta thing happens, unfortunately. The solution I found is to run consumer grade Comcast and consumer grade Ziply to the house. I use a Unifi UDM as the router.
